I lost a wonderful water bottle to the TSA. I remember many things about it (It was exactly the right size and shape to fit in my carry-around bag while carrying the maximum amount of water -- narrowish and medium height. It was clear turquoise plastic. It was sturdy. It had a thumb-pop-off-cap. It was light-weight.) Unfortunately, the only word on it (in large stylized letters) was "fuel".

It is very hard to search for "fuel" and "water bottle" and pick up this company, which apparently also goes by "home presence" and "trudeau". There are a lot of other people talking about using water bottles for fuel and fuel bottles to take camping and general other noise.

Sadly, I don't think I can get my proper turquoise bottle back. I think this will be my best bet, and I won't be able to tell if it's the right size and shape until it gets here.

Here from my Network page!

I did some searching for you. Unfortunately, like you, I didn't turn up much. I *did* turn up this image on Home Presence's website, which fits your description almost perfectly except for the bottle not being turquoise: http://homepresence.com/en/galerie/30906908-fuel-water-bottle-8-128.html . The fact that the picture exists on their website hints that they might still be selling it, but I can't find that exact model anywhere.

It might be worth contacting them with a link to the page and ask if they still sell that particular bottle.

Given that the page I linked to is a 404 now, I'm inclined to agree. :(

That's a shame, since it looked like a great bottle.

I remember how pleased I was when I bought this on impulse (or was I able to use up some Geek Points on it?) and discovered that it's just short enough to tuck into my current purse, does not leak (unlike every other water bottle I've had), and the cobalt blue looks great with the turquoise purse. I can't open it one-handed but since I also have a water bottle that lives in my car that I can just flip up the straw from, that's been a non-issue thus far. A pity the TARDIS design is abrading away from riding around in my purse -- still, it's a good color.

Too late -- there's so little left of the design that the bottle will look better once it all finally chips and scrapes away to leave plain blue behind. But it's a good thought for future purchases with similar issues.
